*Results may vary depending on skin type, pigment intensity, sun exposure, and lifestyle factors.

In simple terms,
freckles may look like ordinary dark spots on the surface,
but their distribution and response pattern are a little different.

They often appear as multiple small, light brown spots
scattered around the nose or across both cheeks,
and because they are quite affected by ultraviolet exposure,
post-treatment care is just as important as the treatment itself.

That is why, in cases like this,
rather than assuming everything will be finished in a single session,
it is usually more realistic to look at the current pigment density and distribution
and follow the process of
diagnosis → planning treatment intensity and intervals → checking progress and adjusting as needed.

When reviewing before-and-after photos,
it is also more accurate not to focus only on whether everything is “completely gone,”
but to look at how much the overall color has lightened,
how much the spot-like pigmentation has faded,
and how even the skin tone across both cheeks has become.

Post-treatment care does not need to be complicated.

It is usually enough to pause potentially irritating home-care products
such as strong scrubs, peeling pads, high-concentration AHA/BHA products, and retinol
for about 1 to 2 weeks,
and to stay consistent with moisturization and sun protection,
which helps keep the post-treatment course more stable.

Freckles in particular tend to be relatively sensitive to sunlight,
so if sun protection becomes inconsistent after treatment,
they may appear darker again or become more noticeable.

*After treatment, temporary redness, a warm or burning sensation, dryness, flaking, scabbing, or a short-term darkening of the pigment may occur. Recovery speed and skin response can vary depending on the individual’s skin condition. If symptoms are severe or persist longer than expected, an in-person evaluation is recommended.
