※ Progress can vary depending on skin condition, pigment depth, and the degree of inflammation.
In short: “pigment” and “redness” require different approaches.
ABNOM can look like ordinary dark spots on the surface, but its depth (layer) and characteristics are different—so the treatment plan often needs to be different as well.
PIE (red marks) is vascular-based redness, so rather than trying to finish it in one session with the same laser, it’s usually managed step-by-step while monitoring the skin’s response.
So you can think of this case as following the flow of:
Diagnosis → Plan design → Progress check → Adjustments
Aftercare (brief)
Pause harsh exfoliation (scrubs, peeling pads, high-strength AHA/BHA, retinol) for 1–2 weeks, and stay consistent with moisturizing and sun protection—this alone can make recovery much more stable.
※ After treatment, temporary redness, stinging, dryness, flaking, and swelling may occur. Temporary darkening (PIH) or changes in redness can also appear. If symptoms are severe, or if blisters, oozing, or persistent/worsening pain occurs, an in-clinic check is recommended.
